Kehinde Gabriel has over 10 years of teaching experience and has dedicated the past 7 years to science education at Avi-Cenna International School in Nigeria. Kehinde began her career with a clear purpose: to make a real difference in her students' lives. Teaching science to young learners has allowed her to build strong relationships and help her students understand the world around them. For Kehinde, the classroom is a place where knowledge and compassion come together.
During the challenging times of COVID-19, Kehinde stumbled upon Quizizz. She needed a tool that would make grading less tedious and help her quickly check student understanding.
She notes that Quizizz stood out for its ease of use and ability to deliver instant feedback. With Quizizz, Kehinde no longer had to spend long hours preparing her own questions, which allowed her more time to focus on her students.
Now, Kehinde uses Quizizz about four times a week. She starts her lessons with a quick quiz to warm up the class and uses assignment mode to monitor progress at home.
One of her favorite features is mastery mode. When a student misses a question, the quiz repeats it until the student answers correctly. This simple repetition helps students master difficult concepts and builds their confidence over time.
